Detailed Information
Bam Post regularly hosts concerts by many of Hawaiʻi’s finest musicians at Moss Lane, so her place is well-equipped for indoor or outdoor concerts, and the extensive grounds will allow space for teaching tents, practice, and kanikapila.
So, what is the Aloha Music Camp Fall Retreat, you ask? It is a three-day (Friday-Sunday) program offering classes in slack key guitar, ʻukulele, and hula. Whether you are an experienced AMCer looking for a skills refresher and social time with friends old and new, or you’ve never been to Aloha Music Camp in Hawaiʻi and want to get an idea of what it’s all about, we’ve got you covered! The Fall Retreat, which will be limited to 50 attendees, is a chance to experience instruction from Keola and Moana Beamer, and Jeff Peterson. There will be evening events, including concerts by our Kumu and films by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and producer Tom Vendetti.
Keep in mind that Sacramento International Airport is the closest airport for those who will fly in.
